Looking to Update your Maps?
If you already have a Tablet or Laptop and are looking to update your maps:
Head to the ‘Map and Software Updates‘ section in the VCA GPS Map Support Center. Select your device from the drop down for update instructions. On March 18, 2025, Google Maps will update its default map style to a new version with a modernized color palette, pins, and improved map experiences and usability, and legacy map styles will be automatically migrated.

Latest Updates
Google Maps is getting two helpful new features in its latest update
You need to have your car set as an electric car to see it though, which you can do from the Your vehicle option in Google Maps Settings. When you update your map style to new styling, you should review it in the style editor before publishing to make sure the style updates have not resulted in any unwanted effects in your custom style.
To identify styles that need to be updated, look for “Update available” on the map style.
